Polyhex, a city of dreams and nightmares, of saints and sinners, a city of sin, vice and enlightenment. Polyhex no word describes you better than paradox. Polyhex was the first "open" city to grace the surface of Cybertron. They never engaged inthe Great Wars raging across the surface of Cybertron and have grown stronger because of it. With the drive of both Autobots and Decepticons flooding its spires, Polyhex has become THE place to be for if you want it, it can be found here. The Polyhexians thrive off the constant conflict in the other cities. They sell to both sides, and thrive.
Polyhex gives on the impression of sin wrapped in innocence. The streets are clean, the roadways are bright, and the buildings gleam long into the night. However, there is always a tangible sense of something twisted lying just beneath the surface. Look far enough, look close enoigh and you'll see things, little things that shatter the surface appearance of beauty. police officers doing drugs, prostitution in churches, children having knife fights in play grounds all amungst the glitter and glamour of beautiful theaters and ageless works of arts. If ever the Matrix and the Pitt spawned a child her name would be Polyhex and she would be both beautiful and terrifying.
Polyhex has a very stable though whimsical governing body, the rulers of the city having been anything from Bots, to Cons to alien off worlders. Here the factions are little han political parties and all that truly matters is how hard you work for Polyhex and how much you steal for yourself. So come ye all, fools and con men, psychopaths and sinners, saints saviors, healers and heroes. Polyhex opens her arms to all but be warned, once in her subtle embrace you may never wish to go.
What a Tangled Web We Weave
Many sections of Polyhex are dominated by organized crime syndicates of one type or another. These mobs or mafias have various legitimate business ventures (night clubs, casinos, factories), but most of their funds go toward and are generated from illegal practices (drugz, gun-running, slave trafficking, you name it).
Most citizens work for one of the syndicates without even realizing it.
Character Creation
As a neutral state, Polyhex focused more on upgrades and stretching the physical form to the max. Experimentation in the name of science and money rendered all kinds of body modifications that you can undergo - for a price. Want to turn your plasma cannon into a targetmaster component? Need to buy your secret crush a cyber-beast? Need more power under the hood? Got to have armor that will redirect energy blasts? Then you have come to the right place. And if you act now, we'll throw in these lovely mudflaps at no additional charge.
