The puny Autobots believe that Metrocon is the gem of Cybertron, but they could not be more wrong. The spires of Praxis inspire fear into any foe, but our citizens are generally happy. They have all sorts of perks handed to them by the Decepticons: cheap transport, subsidized weapons, energon for everyone.
Every citizen gets equal access, so long as they remain loyal to the Decepticon cause. The scraps of traitors speaking out against the Republic of Praxis lie at the gates, an effective warning to anyone who would dare second guess our Dear Leaders! May they transform in a manner that suggests good lubrication for ever!
In the center of the city is the Decepticon fortress, and it is enough to make most people give up and go home. It is big, has more guns than you could count in a day, and looms up in sky, inky black and foreboding. Only the very brave and very stupid (note that is not an "or") would dare launch an attack on this fortress, and they'd be dead soon anyway.
Chain of Command:
Praxis a city-state long held by the Decepticons before the Wreckoning. Since the great cataclysm, leadership has passed from Decepticon to Decepticon. Praxis is officially a socialist republic, but is in practice a socialist dictatorship, and often just a military dictatorship.
Seph-Blade is the current leader of the Praxis Decepticons.
Seph-Blade is a mysterious figure. He has operated in the background of the Decepticons for ages, working as head of security. His goals seem uncharacteristic for a normal Decepticon. Since taking over, he is all about order and rebuilding the Praxis city-state; not for conquering Autobots, but to defend against some evil or force known only to himself. His stlye of leadership likewise perplexes some. He believes in comanding his forces in such a way that places a lot of command decisions in his subcomanders' hands. He directs the units, but lets his units direct the men.
The Decepticons are primarily organized into two public sections:
Air Command
- The aerial elite. Proud, efficient, deadly. Transform into a jet or plane? You were born to rule the skies.
Led by Starcrosser. Contact him to join.
Ground Command
- Land lubbers and the like. If you're a tank or car, and don't mind getting dirty, you belong here.
Led by Carcass. Contact him to join. Carcass wears dresses.
Character Creation:
Praxis has its own list of weapons available only to Praxian residents. Praxis specializes in offensive weapons. Guns and missile launchers are more plentiful and cheaper here.
Starting Out:
After your Tech Spec is approved:
1.
New arrivals should report to the Command Center (LINK) for an assignment from Seph-Blade. You can also report directly to a commander of a subgroup you wish to join. This cuts through the red tape and gets you out in the field quickly.
2.
Maybe you're not ready to follow orders? Maybe you don't have the courage! While you work through your personal issues, you can pick a mission from the mission board at the Military Codex (LINK). This lets you select from a buffet of assignments the one that is most to your taste and skills.
3.
Don't want to work for the greater good that is the Decepticon Cause? It's your funeral. You can wonder about the city-state of Praxis and do what you please for now. Just start a new thread (LINK TO FORUM) in the Praxis forum. The center of Praxis is a dense, Decepticon fortress city-state. But beyond that you will find ruins, bars, war factories, slums, shops, settlements, you name it.
